Project 4 of 9
In Progress
Coin cell batteries are extremely dangerous if swallowed. Please keep them away from small children and pets.
All electrical projects carry some degree of risk. It is the facilitators responsibility to ensure campers know how to use materials to avoid short circuits, shock, and fire.
All tools must be used with care and consideration. If campers are new to a tool, take the time to instruct on proper use.
Be gentle with the leads on LEDs and the wires on motors. They can be easily damaged.
Maker Camp
Maker Camp is a do-it-yourself online resource to help leaders like you organize a summer camp that engages children in making.
Our goal is to provide you and your campers with the inspiration and the helpful resources, along with many possible projects to fit a wide range of interests and abilities.
The idea is to focus on making as a playful, social activity. Maker Camp provides enough support for anyone to get started. Making provides experiences that help children become self-directed learners and good problem-solvers.
